Jazzy EVO 614 Power Wheelchair Features

The Jazzy EVO 614 is a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair designed for users who want a stable ride with higher weight capacity and compact indoor handling. Pride lists a 450 lb weight capacity, speeds up to 4 mph, and a per-charge range of up to 21 miles.

Why We Recommend Jazzy EVO 614

The EVO 614 is built for users who need more capacity than a standard mid-wheel drive power wheelchair without moving into a full heavy-duty base. Pride pairs a 450 lb capacity with Active-Trac (ATX) suspension and a 22 inch turning radius, which balances stability, traction, and maneuverability.

Mid-Wheel Drive Stability and Control

  • Drivetrain: two motor, in-line, mid-wheel drive
  • Turning radius: 22 inches
  • Overall width: 24 inches

Pride classifies the Jazzy EVO 614 as a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair. The turning radius supports tight indoor navigation while maintaining a wider base for added stability.

Performance and Range

  • Maximum speed: up to 4 mph
  • Per-charge range: up to 21 miles
  • Braking system: regenerative and electro-mechanical

Pride’s published speed and range values are based on standardized testing and vary with user weight, terrain, battery condition, and driving habits.

Suspension, Wheels, and Tires

  • Suspension type: Active-Trac (ATX)
  • Drive wheels: 13 inch solid
  • Front wheels: 5 inch solid
  • Rear wheels: 5 inch solid

Active-Trac (ATX) suspension keeps all six wheels engaged with the ground for improved traction over thresholds and uneven surfaces.

Seating and Fit Options

  • High-back seat sizes: 18"x18" to 20", 20"x20" to 22"
  • Seat-to-floor height range: 19.75" to 21.25"
  • Seat weight: 54 lbs

The EVO 614 supports larger seating sizes than the EVO 613 series, aligning with its higher weight capacity.

Battery and Charging System

  • Batteries required: (2) 12-volt, U-1
  • Battery charger: 3.5A, off-board
  • Battery weight: 23.5 lbs each

Pride lists dual U-1 batteries and an off-board charger as standard for the Jazzy EVO 614.

Who This Power Wheelchair Is Best For

This power wheelchair is best for users who need a higher 450 lb capacity, want mid-wheel drive maneuverability, and prefer a stable ride for daily indoor and outdoor use.

What to Expect When It Arrives

Expect a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair with a high-back seat and two U-1 batteries. The chair ships ready for setup, and batteries should be fully charged using the included off-board charger before first use.

Shipping

Free shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. Full-size and heavy-duty scooters ship via LTL freight carrier; compact and folding models typically ship via FedEx or UPS. Most in-stock orders leave the warehouse within 2–5 business days, with delivery 5–10 business days after shipment. Additional charges apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and remote or rural areas — we’ll contact you before processing if extra fees apply.

Freight Delivery

Freight carriers deliver curbside to your driveway or front entrance. The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment window. Please make sure a standard freight truck can safely access your address; if it can’t, you may need to meet the driver at a nearby accessible location. An adult 18 or older must be present to sign for the shipment.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Inspect the packaging carefully before signing the delivery receipt. The driver is not required to wait while you unbox the scooter.

  • If the packaging looks clean and undamaged, sign and accept the delivery.
  • If you see any holes, dents, tears, or crushed corners, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, then accept the delivery and contact us.
  • If the packaging is severely damaged, refuse the shipment as “Damaged in Transit,” have the driver note it on the BOL, and call us immediately.

Concealed Damage

If your scooter is damaged but the packaging looked fine at delivery, contact us within 72 hours of arrival so we can file a carrier claim and get you a fast resolution. Claims filed after 72 hours cannot be honored by the freight carrier.

Returns

We want you to be fully satisfied with your scooter. If you need to return a non-defective unit, returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery and meet all of the following:

  • The scooter must be unused, in new/resalable condition, and in its original packaging with all manuals, chargers, keys, and accessories included.
  • You must request a Return Authorization (RA) number from us before shipping anything back. Returns without an RA will be refused.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked, insured freight service — we can’t issue a refund on a scooter that’s lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll refund the purchase price minus the 20% restocking fee and any deductions for missing accessories or damage.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If your scooter arrives damaged, defective, or we shipped the wrong item, that’s on us — contact us within 72 hours and we’ll cover replacement parts, a repair, or a prepaid return label at no cost to you. No restocking fee applies.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Used or operated scooters
  • Custom-configured orders (custom seating, upgraded tires, color changes, etc.)
  • Batteries sold separately from a scooter
  • Opened consumables and personal-use accessories

Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled at no charge before they leave the warehouse. Once the scooter has shipped, our standard return policy applies.
